Junior Project Manager

January 2018
Central London (London Bridge / Borough)

Salary dependent on experience.
The position is a full-time, permanent position.

We are a London-based Drupal agency working with some big names in the public sector. Following a period of growth, we are now looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our team, to assist our Head of Delivery in managing our existing and new projects, and working with our development team on enterprise-level builds. This will involve close partnership work across the company and with our clients. We use Drupal and WordPress as our primary Content Management Frameworks, and while previous experience in this area is not vital, it is advantageous and we would expect the successful candidate to quickly become knowledgeable in these areas as part of this role.

As we are looking for a candidate who we can train in our in-house style, experience in managing digital projects is preferable, but not essential. A passion, however, for digital delivery and an enthusiastic approach is vital. This includes a desire to deliver outstanding support to our clients at all times.

As well as having a clear interest in the digital landscape, you must have excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a comprehensive yet non-technical and client-friendly manner, as well as be professional in client-facing environments.

  • University Degree level educated
  • Passion for the digital industry and an interest in open source technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage work priorities effectively and autonomously
  • Some experience in digital project delivery AND client facing
  • Excellent initiative and self-starter
  • Optional:
    • Experience of Drupal and Wordpress
    • Design experience (Adobe CS or similar)
    • An understanding of analytics packages (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager)
    • A working knowledge of SEO
    • Knowledge and experience of Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
    • Experience of working with other CMSs/CRM Platforms (e.g. Dynamics, Sharepoint and Salesforce)
    • Marketing or Sales experience

We will provide:

  • MacBook Pro or equivalent
  • Professional development training
  • Flexible working opportunities after probation period
  • 28 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays, increasing with long-term loyalty rewards
  • Season ticket loan for annual travel pass (e.g. Oyster or National Rail) after successful probation period
  • Friendly and supportive environment
  • Workplace pension
  • ‘Open fridge’ policy and lunch provided daily

We will provide you with all the support you need to develop your knowledge and experience.
